I bought my z from the original owner, 8 years ago. It's a 1990 TT.
Last year I purchased a JDM motor/turbos/tranny combo from:

and had it installed by a fucking moron (so that makes me a moron also). THAT motor that I purchased did NOT have a TT oil filter tree on it, so the schmuck cut my OEM oil cooler lines, and capped the ends (not being used).
My oil cooler is still installed, hard lines and all, but NOT hooked up. My original post was questioning STOCK vs AFTERMARKET items for the entire oil cooler system.
The motor also came with "new style" TPS, CAS, intake plenum, etc etc. The saga continues. Moral of the story, perform your own work on your Z :/
